	What is it? This nationally recognized Residential Construction 
 Academy (RCA) accredited instructional program, in
 conjunction with the National Association of Home
 Builders (NAHB) and the Home Builders Institute
 (HBI), prepares students in all phases of building
 construction including site layout, footing and
 foundation construction, framing systems, exterior
 finishes, insulation, drywall, finish carpentry and
 cabinet installations, all with emphasis on residential
 home construction.What will I do? Students also learn the proper use of hand and 
 power tools, construction materials, estimating,
 blueprint reading, and construction safety. Students
 will work in teams and under a variety of real
 occupational conditions. Students completing this
 program will be prepared to begin entry-level
 employment in construction carpentry and related
 trade areas.
