	What is it? The public safety program is designed to 
 prepare students for careers in four broad areas
 of public safety: law enforcement, fire protection,
 emergency health services, and security and loss
 prevention.What will I do? Students will study and perform skills in the 
 following topics: safety, criminal justice system,
 law enforcement, private and homeland security,
 corrections, communications, incident command,
 firefighting, emergency medical services,
 hazardous materials and defensive techniques.
